The “open" eye allows easy insertion of a safety rope - often used by Alpine Guides to further protect their clients.When the client reaches the anchor, the rope can be easily removed from the open eyebolt.The shank has a deep diamond-pattern knurl of 120 mm and must be sheathed in the hole for a length of minumum 160 mmThe hole must be drilled using a Ø18 mm bit (such as art.449*).This anchor comes with a special stainless steel in-built clamp for excellent hold on the cable.The u-clamp nuts are self-locking, preventing accidental loosening of the cable.The surface of the anchor is finished in a slightly opaque grey for a reduced environmental and visual impact.Weight: 920 gr
