NEW ANCHOR FREQUENTLY USED WHEN CREATING “FRENCH”-STYLE VIA FERRATA ROUTES. NEW DESIGN EVEN MORE PERFORMING. This anchor is created in rounded and smooth stainless steel AISI 304 Ø16 mm rebar and has been shaped to allow horizontal or diagonal placements with a high level of safety during use. The “open" eye allows easy insertion of a safety rope - often used by Alpine Guides to further protect their clients. When the client reaches the anchor, the rope can be easily removed from the open eyebolt. The shank has a deep diamond-pattern knurl of 120 mm and must be sheathed in the hole for a length of minumum 160 mm The hole must be drilled using a Ø18 mm bit (such as art.449*). This anchor comes with a special stainless steel in-built clamp for excellent hold on the cable. The u-clamp nuts are self-locking, preventing accidental loosening of the cable. The surface of the anchor is finished in a slightly opaque grey for a reduced environmental and visual impact. Weight: 1000 gr
